360° SURROUND VIEW MONITOR

The 360° Surround View Monitor provides a complete aerial perspective of your surroundings, enhancing visibility and making parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces easier and safer.

TRAILER SWAY CONTROL (TSC)

TSC will apply brakes to individual vehicle wheels to help bring the trailer safely back under control.

ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)

ESC kicks-in when under or oversteering occurs and helps restore control

TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Having the right tyre pressure is essential when towing. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) constantly monitors individual tyre pressures, helping ensure that safe tyre pressures are maintained for optimal fuel efficiency and to help reduce tyre wear. TPMS also helps when inflating tyres as it beeps when you have reached the correct tyre pressure.

UNDERFLOOR VIEW

The Underfloor View displays wheel position, guidelines and vehicle trajectory, while showcasing the terrain beneath the vehicle for added confidence on challenging trails.

ROUGH TERRAIN MODE

Engineered for Australian conditions, every 4×4 MU‑X features Rough Terrain Mode as standard. Rough Terrain Mode works alongside the rear diff-lock to provide a new lease on traction that maximises drivability in technical, slippery and rough conditions.

REAR DIFFERENTIAL LOCK

To get you out of the toughest spots, the TOUR MATE comes standard with a rear differential lock. If you’re on a slippery, uneven surface with the rear wheels spinning, the rear differential lock assists the low-ratio 4WD-low mode to give you the extra traction and control needed to keep moving.

WADING DEPTH∞

Wherever you’re planning to go, the TOUR MATE is up for the task. With generous steel underbody protection, and a wading depth∞ of up to 800mm, the TOUR MATE is your most reliable way to escape the everyday.

HILL START ASSIST & DESCENT CONTROL

Take on any challenge with Hill Start Assist which prevents vehicle roll-back when starting on steep gradients (above 5.7 degrees). Hill Descent Control gives you the confidence to tackle any downhill terrain by ensuring maximum traction.

TERRAIN COMMAND DIAL

Switch quickly and easily between 2WD-high, 4WD-high & 4WD-low driving modes.

UNDERBODY PROTECTION

The TOUR MATE comes with sturdy steel underbody protection, including a steel sump and transfer case guard, for extra protection in punishing off-road conditions.
